The Punjab government is committed to have close collaboration with Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CCI) in the Province for accommodating the Business Community in their Trade activities. These views were expressed by the Consultant to Chief Minister Punjab on Economic Affairs and Vice Chairman Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) Pir Saad Ahsanuddin, while talking to a delegation of Business Community, says a spokesman here on Friday.
Pir Saad said that local as well as foreign investors are being encouraged to initiate fresh ventures in the province, and for this purpose, an investment friendly atmosphere has been developed in Punjab by launching comprehensive business policies. He said that with a view to accelerate economic activities, a vigorous plan is being pursued by the Punjab government.
The Consultant to CM further said traders and industrialists are the back bone of our economy and the major focus of PBIT is to facilitate investors and industrialists as well as an early solution of their business related problems. Vice Chairman PBIT said that Punjab has the necessary infrastructure for foreign investors and business friendly policies have been introduced to facilitate and safeguard their investment in the province. He assured the delegation that problems of the Business Community are being addressed on priority basis.
