Federal Minister for Population Welfare Dr Fardous Ashiq Awan Sunday distributed special Eid gifts and food among 300 deserving families in the villages of Kotli Loharaan and Palora Kalan near Sialkot. On these moments, she affirmed that the government was making all out efforts to raise the living standard of the poor.
This, she said, is in addition to successfully implementing the policies to pull the country out of the 'inherited' energy and economical crisis.
Dr Fardous expressed that Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto was a hope of success and a sign of confidence, courage and success for the female politicians and party workers, who sacrificed her life while battling the dictatorship, following the foot steps of her father. She further said the untimely demise of BB has put the female workers far behind the national political scenario, as every worker was considering himself an orphan. She pointed that the assassination has proved that no one was safe in the country.
