Two persons died and three received injuries due to open exchange of firing by two rival groups in Pat Bazar of Hangu district on Sunday. The incident stir terror among the residents who confined to their houses and the district administration of Hangu imposed curfew besides convening a jirga to hold consultation with local people for controlling the situation.
District Police Officer (DPO) Hangu, Muhammad Alam Shinwari when contacted informed that the decision to impose curfew was taken for controlling the situation. He also informed that FC troops have also been called for maintaining peace in the district. He said government is trying to hold consultation with notable of the areas for stopping the situation to further deteriorate.
