Ten Division Benches (DBs) and 22 Single Benches (SBs) at Lahore High Court (LHC) will start hearing the cases at the Principal Seat in the week commencing September 24 after Eidul Fitr.
According to a notification issued here by the Additional Registrar's office, the DBs are: DB-I the Chief Justice Khawaja Muhammad Sharif, Justice Hasnat Ahmad Khan, DB-II Justice Mian Muhammad Najum-uz-Zaman, Justice Tariq Shamim, DB-III Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, Justice Fazal-e-Miran Chauhan, DB-IV Justice Maulvi Anwarul Haq, Justice Syed Shabbar Raza Rizvi, DB-V Justice Muhammad Bilal Khan, Justice Iqbal Hameed-ur-Rehman, DB-VI Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed, Justice Umar Ata Bandial, DB-VII Justice Syed Hamid Ali Shah, Justice Syed Asghar Haider, DB-VIII Justice Asad Munir, Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah, DB-IX Justice Hafiz Abdul Rehman Ansari, Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan, DB-X Justice Sheikh Najam ul Hassan, Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik.
The SBs are comprised the Chief Justice Khawaja Muhammad Sharif, Justice Mian Muhammad Najum-uz-Zaman, Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, Justice Maulvi Anwarul Haq, Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry, Justice Syed Sakhi Hussain Bokhari, Justice Muhammad Bilal Khan, Justice Fazal-e-Miran Chauhan, Justice Syed Shabbar Raza Rizvi, Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed, Justice Syed Hamid Ali Shah, Justice Umar Ata Bandial, Justice Tariq Shamim, Justice Syed Asghar Haider, Justice Hasnat Ahmad Khan, Justice Iqbal Hameed-ur-Rehman, Justice Asad Munir, Justice Hafiz Abdul Rehman Ansari, Justice Sheikh Najam ul Hassan, Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik, Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan, Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah. The DBs shall function from Monday to Thursday, while Special Benches will meet on Friday and on any other day as and when needed.
