Forces arrest most wanted terrorist commander Qari Amin

Security forces have arrested most wanted terrorist commander and a suicide bomber during search operations in different parts of Malakand. Twenty-one terrorists have surrendered along with arms, ammunition and explosive while one tunnel was discovered.
Security forces continued the search and clearance operations in Swat and other parts of Malakand Division to eliminate terrorists from these areas, said a spokesman of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) here on Wednesday. Security forces have arrested a suicide bomber namely Ehsan from Kanju during search operation and averted death and destruction, the spokesman said.
Security forces have arrested notorious terrorist commander Qari Amin during a search operation at Kanatai and Gamsar areas of Swat along with another terrorist commander, the spokesman said, adding that Qari Amin was involved in murder of Pir Samiul Haq. He said that forces have recovered an amount of Rs 44,000 from the detained terrorists.
Security forces conducted search operation at Rema area in north of Barshaur and discovered a 15-ft long empty tunnel inside the house of Akbar Zada, he said. He said that 14 terrorists have voluntarily surrendered at Barshaur along with arms and ammunition including two small machine guns and two 12 bore guns. He said that seven terrorists have voluntarily surrendered at Devolai, Salhand and Shah Dheri area of Swat.
The spokesman said that an Eid get-together for all ranks and notables of the area was held at Alpurai Camp. It was attended by notables and elders of Alpurai, Liluani, Karora and Shahpur. The notables expressed full confidence in the Army and pledged their all-out support, the spokesman said.
