Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), Muhammad Pervez Rathore has directed the Lahore Police to be well prepared and vigilant to face any kind of untoward situation, which may occur any time, as terrorists and other criminal elements could harm the people and the institutions in order to prove their existence.
He said this while felicitating the officials of Lahore Police who have performed outstanding duty, to ensure the Lahorites to spend Eid in a peaceful and dignified manner. He called upon Lahore Police personnel to continue to perform their duties with similar zeal, dedication and efficiency. CCPO also appreciated traffic officers and traffic wardens for ensuring smooth flow of traffic on Eid and ensuring that no traffic jam occurs anywhere.
He said that the citizens of Lahore are not only satisfied with the performance of Lahore Police, but also are proud of them. He appreciated the whole-hearted co-operation of Lahorites for maintaining of law and order situation and effective implementation of traffic plan, which helped make Eid-ul-Fitr a memorable day.
CCPO also appealed to the citizens of Lahore to keep a vigilant eye on their immediate surroundings and inform police, without any delay, about any suspicious activities in their locality in order to help eradicate acts of terrorism and other heinous crimes from the city. Any secret information by any citizen will be considered as a great contribution toward the protection of city, country and the nation the CCPO added.
