Ali Gilani warns of a demographic change in IHK

Senior Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has warned that India is working on a plan to settle non-Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir to change the demography of the territory. According to Kashmir Media Service, the senior leader appealed to the international community to take an urgent notice of the fact that with an ultimate intention of converting the Muslim majority population into a minority.
The Indian army had possessed large chunks of Kashmiris' private lands without any legal justification. He emphasised that India should withdraw its troops from occupied Kashmir so that a just resolution of the Kashmir dispute was brought about.
In London, on the occasion of World Peace Day, the Executive Director of Kashmir Centre, Professor Nazir Ahmed Shawl appealed to all world leaders and peacemakers to intervene regarding the denial of basic rights to the Kashmiri people and make efforts towards a productive engagement of all parties to the Kashmir dispute.
