Special squads of Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) constituted to curb one-wheeling and racing on the main roads of the Capital remained very much successful against rash drivers on the eve of Chand Raat and Eid-ul-Fitr and impounded around 20 motorcycles, the police source said.
He said that SSP Traffic Dr Moeen Masood has directed strict action against the violators of traffic laws. Following these directions, he said that police squads of ITP especially constituted to curb rash driving remained alert on Chand Raat as well as on Eid day and impounded 20 motorcycles besides arresting five rash drivers.
