Two die in clash after traffic accident

Two people were killed while seven wounded during a clash between two rival groups following a traffic accident which injured three teenage motorcycle riders near Cattle Colony, Landhi on Tuesday, police and ambulance services said. The injured were taken to Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center for treatment.
A police official said that Naushad 35 and Siraj 30 were shot dead while injured included Gul Mohammad 38, Zarab Khan 40, Mohammad Ali 32, Raees 25, Allah Bux 25, Sher Mohammad 20 and Sohail 22. All of them were shifted to JPMC. He said that Faisal, Irfan and Naveed were critically injured when a mini bus of D-7 route ran over their motorbike near Labour Square, Landhi. They were shifted to JMPC for treatment.
Later, angry mob resorted to stone pelting and aerial firing when the news of road accident reached the nearby locality. Soon after, the protest turned into a bloody clash between two groups of the area over the incident. One group also attacked the driver and emergency volunteer of Edhi Ambulance who were shifting the injured to the hospital.
