ACCA Pakistan is organising a workshop for journalists in Lahore on 29 September 2009. The one-day event aimed at enhancing knowledge base of the news reporters from print and electronic media in the areas of accounting and finance, ethics and communications.
The sessions will be conducted on Understanding Financial Statements for Business reporting, Effective Communication, Bribery and Corruption, and Ethics in journalism. These practical thematic discussions will be facilitated by professional leaders and experts from the industry including the Additional Auditor General - Mohammad Ayub Tarin - Mujeeb-ur-Rahman Shami, Partner Ilyas Saeed and Co - Irfan Ilyas and Trainer School of Leadership - Saima Khan.
The media workshop for journalists is an annually planned activity conducted to deliver ACCA's global agenda of working in public-interest and promoting professionalism and ethics in key areas of governance and sustainability.
