One terrorist killed, 17 injured in Malakand

Security forces killed one terrorist, injured another 17 including three notorious and wanted commanders during ongoing 'Operation Rah e Rast in Swat and other parts of Malakand division, while four have surrendered.
During a clash between the terrorist and security forces at Alla Dhand area of Swat Valley, forces have killed one terrorist and injured another, while forces have demolished the house of terrorist commander Habibul Haq in Alla Dhand, said a spokesman of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) here on Sunday.
Security forces have arrested terrorist commander Ayub from Kabbal area of Swat Valley, he said, adding that security forces have arrested terrorist commander, Maaz in Fiza Ghat area of Swat near Malam Jabba. He said that the security forces conducted search operation at Ser Colony near Tiligram area of Swat during which they arrested five terrorists from the area.
Four terrorists were arrested by security forces during an operation at Banjot area in Dagai near Kabbal and Tarkani near Shah Dheri, he added. Four terrorists have voluntarily surrendered to security forces at Tighak, Galoch area near Tutan Banda and Kabbal Camp during an operation, the spokesman said. He said that the security forces conducted search operation at Bajoro Killay, near Shergarh and arrested six terrorists including a terrorist commander Janat Gul.
During relief activities for internally displaced persons (IDPs) of Malakand division Pakistan Army has so far distributed 304,335 cash cards among the IDPs, the spokesman said, adding that over Rs 7.3 billion have been distributed among the IDPs.
