Barley, til rates sharply higher on grain market

A few changes were seen on the wholesale grain and seed market on Monday as most of the items held the overnight levels in process of trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Masoor Canada dropped by Rs 100 to Rs 8500-8600, Barley Sindh and Mardan, however, low type gained Rs 400 to Rs 2900 and best type rose by Rs 550 to Rs 3000, they added.
On the seed side til low type picked up Rs 200 to Rs 3450 and superior type was up by Rs 150 to Rs 3600 and cottonseed oilcake with bag Sind was higher by Rs 10 to Rs 940-960, they said.
