Pakistani film stars Saba Qamar and Noor Bukhari have been in a legal trouble after Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) announced that it will seize the properties of actresses over not paying taxes.
According to local media reports, The FBR stated that Noor has defaulted on tax worth Rs1.5 million, while Saba Qamar has defaulted on tax worth Rs3.4 million. According to the FBR, many notices were sent to the two actresses but upon no response, it took the decision of sealing their respective houses.
Reportedly, Saba Qamar has denied receiving any notice. FBR has also directed to freeze their bank accounts.
Saba Qamar recently debuted in a hit Bollywood movie ‘Hindi Medium’. She has also become a talk of the town after portraying social media sensation Qandeel Baloch in an ongoing drama serial ‘Baaghi’.

Saba Qamar recently took to her social media account to react to the recent controversy. She wrote, "My house has not been sealed, neither has my bank account. I'm a tax filer. It's very disappointing that channels are circulating such news without finding out the truth. These channels have no credibility as they have been spreading such rumours".
