US MIDDAY: wheat plummets, corn up

Wheat futures fell sharply at the Chicago Board of Trade early on Tuesday amid pressure from expectations for growing supplies amid continued light demand, traders said. At 11:24 am CDT (1624 GMT), CBOT December wheat was down 9 cents at $4.46-3/4 a bushel. The contract hit a low of $4.41-1/4 earlier in the day. December corn up 1/4 cent at $3.39 a bushel.
