The trading in Kirana items moved both ways on Jodia Bazar here on Wednesday. The following changes were noted.
KIRANA ITEMS (Per 40 kg): White pepper edged down by Rs 200 to Rs 16,600, black pepper Singapore finished higher by Rs 300 to Rs 10,800, black pepper Ceylon went up by Rs 100 to Rs 10,600, mace moved upward by Rs 3000 to Rs 40,000, small cardamom closed higher by Rs 16,000 to Rs 56,000, big cardamom edged down by Rs 200 to Rs 16,400, dry ginger (Ethiopia) moved upward by Rs 300 to Rs 3,500, saunf went lower by Rs 500 to Rs 4,500, long pepper finished higher by Rs 500 to Rs 10,000, peanuts closed up by Rs 100 to Rs 3,450, sago moved upward by Rs 10 to Rs 1,850, chillies Dandiwali was quoted at Rs 3,400, darchini edged lower by Rs 100 to Rs 4000 and tamarind closed up by Rs 40 to Rs 1,200.
