Chaudhry Zaheer-ud-Din, leader of PML-Q in Punjab Assembly, addressing a press conference here, on Wednesday, said that the provincial government was not sincere in holding the session of Assembly regularly. Meanwhile, the Governor of Punjab Salman Taseer has called the Punjab Assembly session on October 12, 2009.
Zaheer-u-Din said that due to faulty planning of the government, problems of the masses were multiplying. He lamented the government for its posture on sugar and wheat situation and said that it had increased complexity of things. Stating on their party posture on the forthcoming polls in NA-123, the opposition leader stated that when the time comes they would decide on the issue.
He said that the opposition would present 50 resolutions on public interest, while four private member bills, 22 call attention notices, 50 adjournment motions and four privilege motions would also be presented in the upcoming Punjab Assembly session. Zaheer-u-Din said the party would bring the matters relating to sugar and atta crises under discussion in the Assembly.
