'Punjab government will overcome difficulties faced by traders'

Senior Advisor Chief Minister Punjab Pervaiz Malik has said that the provincial government will overcome the difficulties faced by the traders with their co-operation, as traders and PML-N have been enjoying an exemplary relationship since long. He expressed these views during his visit to the office of the All Pakistan Paper Merchants Association (APPMA) on the invitation of the newly elected members of the APPMA.
Newly elected president of APPMA Asif Ali Bukhari, vice-president Amir Saghir Shaikh and general-secretary Shakil Malik were also present. In his welcome address president Asif Ali Bukhari stressed the need of co-operation between the paper merchants and the government for the solution to their problems while leaders of the APPMA Khamis Butt and Sami-ullah-Butt pointed out the enormous increase in the prices of paper and board. They said that this price-hike in the prices would effect the government's efforts of implementing the education reforms in the country.
Besides flour and sugar mafia, he said that paper mafia was also very active and creating hurdles for the federal government, adding that the imposition of regularity duty in connivance with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is conspiracy against the people.
