First Indonesian solo exhibition

The First Indonesian Solo Exhibition will be organised at a local hotel from October 10, said Trigustono Supriyanto, acting Consul General of Indonesia in Karachi, at a press conference on Wednesday. Supriyanto said that the two-day show is a comprehensive trade event and 30 Indonesian companies and 20 importers from Pakistan will participate.
He pointed out that the very purpose of the exhibition is to build a strong trade partnership between Indonesia and Pakistan. This, the Consul General further stated, would provide an opportunity to the businessmen of both the countries to explore the possibilities of entering new markets with long-term vision of gaining economic prosperity.
He said that the products to be displayed at the exhibition will consist of furniture, handicrafts, 'Batik', textiles and garments, shoes, spices, food and dairy, automotive spares, cosmetics, battery, tea, tyre and tubes and fire extinguishers etc.
Supriyanto was of the view that Pakistan and Indonesia can share experiences, knowledge, skills and information in various fields to complement each other. He said that the exhibition will be open to general public from 1400 hours to 2100 hours on October 10 and from 1100 hours to 2100 hours on October 11. Replying a question, the Consul General said that efforts would also be made to enhance tourist traffic between our two countries.
