Federal Minister for Industry and Production Mian Manzoor Ahmed Khan Wattoo has said that capable leadership without the promotion of education can not be available to the country.
He said that the bringing of educational revolution was utmost necessary in the country for eradicating menace of terrorism and suicide bomb blasts, particularly diverting the minds of young generation from anti state activities through it.
The federal minister severely resenting the terrorist attack at the GHQ Check Post Islamabad said that the security officials by offering the sacrifices of their lives foiled the heinous conspiracy. He said that the terrorists by attacking could not humiliate the government.
He expressed these views while addressing the 'Talent Awards 2009' distribution ceremony held under the aegis of the Citizen Council at Zila Council Hall-Okara on Sunday.
Provincial Minister for Labour and Manpower Muhammad Ashraf Khan Sohna, MPA Rubina Shaheen Wattoo, Federal Parliamentary Secretary Finance Chaudhry Sajjad-ul-Hassan, former MPA Arif Chaudhry, DCO Okara Ali Jan Khan and DPO Okara Bilal Siddique Kamiana were present on the occasion.
Mian Manzoor Ahmed Khan Wattoo said that the great heroes, offering sacrifices for Pakistan and its people made an addition in history with their blood and whole nation was proud of it.
Provincial Minister for Labour and Manpower Muhammad Ashraf Khan Sohna, addressing the ceremony said that the terrorists wanted to make Pakistan a failed state but they would not be allowed to meet their nefarious designs.
He said that there was no difference of opinion between army and the government on the Kerry-Lugar bill and cowardly activities of terrorists could not demoralise the armed forces. Later, the chief guest Mian Manzoor Ahmed Khan Wattoo distributed prizes and awards among the students.
