Shabab-e-Milli on Sunday launched a "Road Caravan" against increased US influence in the country from Lahore to Islamabad here on Sunday. Addressing the Caravan, Amir Jamat-e-Islami Syed Munawar Hassan urged the government to evolve home-grown policies instead of taking dictation from others.
He termed Kerry-Lugar bill an attempt to establish US hegemony over the country, which, he said, would not be accepted at any cost. Hassan said if the bill was accepted then the country sovereignty would be at stake. Commenting over terrorist attack on Army Headquarter, he said its link could be found in India.
