Taliban criticise Obama's Nobel Peace Prize

The Pakistani Taliban has criticised the decision to award Barack Obama the Nobel Peace Prize saying the US president should have received a ``villain of peace'' award instead. Taliban spokesman Azam Tariq said that Obama, who has beefed up the US military presence in neighbouring Afghanistan, did not deserve the peace prize.
Tariq said, "Obama's hands are tainted with the blood of thousands of human beings, and the institution that gave him the peace prize perhaps does not believe in human rights.''
