Prices mixed on grain market

Prices moved both ways on the wholesale grain market on Thursday as rates of sugar went up sharply and Masoor fell on easy supply in process of trading, dealers said.
On the cereals side, sugar rose by Rs 200 to Rs 4700-4800, gur better type picked up by same amount at Rs 6200, while the best type did not move any side at Rs 5500 and Khandsari also gained the same amount at Rs 6000, Masoor Canada, however, dropped sharply by Rs 300 to Rs 7000 and Masoor dal Canada also followed the same trend and lost Rs 200 to Rs 8800 on improved supply position, they added.
