'Terrorists next target was Islamabad Police Lines'

The two terrorists arrested by Islamabad Police on Thursday night stated that they were planning to attack some important buildings in the capital. However, their next target was Police Lines, Islamabad, in Sector H-9.
According to sources, during investigation on Friday the terrorists named Abdullah and Zain said that their next target was Police Lines in H-9, Islamabad, and they were planning to attack some other important government/diplomat offices and major buildings. These terrorists were arrested on Thursday by Shalimar police station in the capital. However, one managed to escape.
They were arrested at a check point during a routine checking carrying arms including hand grenade, pistols and suicide jackets. Sources said that the terrorists disclosed that they were also planning to target offices of TV channels, and newspapers pro-America.
Sources said that for security reasons pillion riding has been banned in the capital for two months, and check points have been increased, and the law enforcing agencies have been equipped with more weapons and bullet-proof jackets.
