The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Tuesday has constituted 128 sector-specific Standing Committees to supplement the government efforts aimed at economic revival of the country. The LCCI President, Zafar Iqbal Chaudhry, Senior Vice President Ejaz A Mumtaz and Vice President, Faisal Iqbal Sheikh jointly gave away letters to the newly appointed Convenors of the Standing Committees at an impressive ceremony held at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Speaking on the occasion, the LCCI President said that an extra care has been taken while appointing the Convenors of the LCCI Standing Committees as on the basis of feedback of these sector's specialists, the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry would formulate a set of proposal for the government for economic revival.
Zafar said that the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry this time would forward to the government a possible way out of the ongoing economic mire. He said that there was no second opinion about it that if policies were formulated with the consultation of stakeholders, they are bound to yield results.
