The Lahore High Court (LHC) disposed of a petition filed against school teachers when Executive District Officer (EDO) informed the court that two teachers have been suspended who had tortured the student. Tauqir Fatima had filed a writ petition saying that her granddaughter Wishal Khurram, a 9th class student of Government Progressive School, Model Town, was tortured by two teachers Kausar Parveen and Shagufta Shaheen.
Petitioner said that she filed a complaint to the principal of the school but no action was taken against the teachers.
