Punjab Education Foundation has postponed its 8th regular Quality Assurance Test (QAT) which was due to start from October 26, 2009 in districts Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Bhakkar, Chakwal, Chiniot, Gujrat, Jhang, Khushab, Lodhran, Lahore, Multan, Mianwali, Muzaffargarh, Nankana Sab, Rajanpur, Sialkot, Sheikhupura and Vehari.
According to the spokesperson the QAT is postponed due to the closure of educational institutes as a result of deteriorating law and order situation in the country. He said that all the affiliated schools in the province have been informed about the decision. He also said that new date of QAT would be announced very soon.
