The news about successful nuclear tests in 1998 ran a wave of jubilations across the world. On the other hand it shocked India and its Western masters as they cannot digest the status of a Muslim nuclear power. Prior to these tests, Pakistan was pressured and threatened to not to test its nuclear devices.
However, later, anti-Pakistan forces opted for launching a baseless propaganda against Pak nuclear assets. Despite repeated assurances, especially by the country's top leadership that our nuclear assets are fully secured under a robust command and control system and having no chance of proliferation or falling into the hands of non-state actors, few of them termed Pakistan a 'unique' nuclear country, which has obtained and proliferated nuclear technology. The enemies simply cannot accept an Islamic nuclear power, that is why doubts and questions are always raised about nuclear assets.
