Turkish Prime Minister arrives on three-day visit

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey was accorded a warm welcome as he arrived here Saturday night on a three-day official visit to hold bilateral meetings and to launch CEO's Forum of Pakistani and Turkish entrepreneurs.
The Turkish Prime Minister, who was accompanied by his spouse Emine Erdogan, Members of the Cabinet, Parliamentarians and senior government officials, was received at the Chaklala airbase by Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Quresi, Communication Minister Arbab Alamgir and senior officials.
The Turkish Prime Minister was given a 19'Gun Salute upon his arrival. Two children presented bouquet to the Turkish Prime Minister on the occasion. Formal welcome ceremony for the Turkish Prime Minister will be held here at the Prime Minister House on Sunday.
CEOs of leading Turkish companies from different sectors are also accompanying Prime Minister Erdogan. The first CEO's Forum of Pakistani and Turkish entrepreneurs will be launched during the Prime Minister's visit. Prime Minister Erdogan earlier visited Pakistan in October 2005, following the devastating earthquake in NWFP and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
