Another IIUI blast victim dies

Another innocent victim of suicide attack at International Islamic University (IIUI) died here on Saturday at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims). Talking to Business Recorder, Dr Waseem Khawaja, Pims spokesman said that Amna Batool was brought to the hospital in a critical condition.
She had major injuries and was operated but after she could not survive and died on Saturday morning. He further said that there was another female student named Aqsa, she is also in a critical condition. Answering to a question regarding the misconception about the death toll of the student in the October 20 suicide attack he replied that total five dead bodies were brought to the hospital.
However, it is difficult to tell the total number of the casualties as after the suicide attack many were taken to the near by hospital, he maintained. NESCOM hospital informed that they received seven patients injured in the blasts. Among them one Khadija Khan was referred to KRL hospital whereas Javaria Iram and Anam Iqbal are still being treated at the hospital and remaining four has been discharged. PAEC hospital sources said that six students have been discharged from the hospital while one Tayyaba daughter of Muhammad Hanif is still under treatment.
