Ellahi terms Punjab government as 'inefficient'

25 Oct, 2009

Pakistan Muslim League-Q leader and former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Ellahi has criticised the PML-N led Punjab government saying that it has done nothing for the welfare of the people of the province. He said this while talking to his party workers and leaders from different parts of the province at his residence here on Saturday.
Ellahi maintained that those who raised tall claims of bringing back the prices of essential items at the level of 1999 had not so far fulfilled even a single promise including auction of bullet proofs vehicles and converting Chief Minister's Secretariat into women university.
"In order to deliver to the public, vision and commitment in rulers are pre-requisite which is lacking in the present Punjab rulers," he said. The PML-Q leader further said that Sharif brothers have lust for power and playing the game of politics for the fulfilment of their designs.
