Equities continued to show negative signs under the lead of hot favourites at Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Wednesday where bears strengthened their positions under the lead of trend-setters amid decrease in index. ISE-10 Index showed a decrease of 10.35 points from 2,183.61 to 2,173.26 points.
The volume of trade amounted to 1,124,789 shares as compared to previous turnover of 1,124,789 shares. Total 168 companies were quoted on the ready-board. Majority of stocks (85) closed in negative territory, and 83 closed in positive zone. The volume of DG Khan Cement was 244,365 shares. The turnover of Arif Habib Securities was 207,100 shares. The volume of Adamjee Insurance was 109,180 shares.
