Asian physical rubber prices were little changed on Wednesday as trade was subdued with few buyers at current high price levels. The physical market has been supported by tight supplies from major producing countries, including Indonesia, the world's No 2 rubber producer, where a deadly earthquake earlier this month caused delays in some shipments.
Indonesia's SIR20 tyre grade was traded late on Tuesday at $1.06 per pound for December shipment and possibly at $1.0625 as well, with buyers reluctant to bid it higher, a trader said.
