Senior Kashmiri Hurriyet leader Syed Ali Geelani visited the residence of Aasiya Andrabi, Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, and enquired about her health. Syed Ali Geelani prayed for early recovery of the Hurriyet leader. Both the leaders also discussed the prevailing political situation in the occupied territory, KMS reported.
Meanwhile, Aasiya Andrabi has expressed satisfaction over the exemplary strike observed by the people and their participation in protest demonstrations on October 27 and 28. "The people have once again showed it to the world that they wanted to get rid of Indian rule," she said. She said that the people would continue struggle till the settlement of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiri people.
