The ambulances fetching patients deserve the right of way first. This was stressed by the prominent social worker, Ramzan Chhipa, of the Chhipa Welfare Association. He pointed out that owing to traffic rush the ambulances often get stuck up which delay the provision of medical attention to the patients especially those suffering from heart ailments.
The Chhipa Welfare Association, which runs an ambulance service as well, has launched an awareness campaign. Hand bills were distributed on the busy thoroughfares in the metropolis on Sunday urging the people that the ambulances should be given the right of way first so that prompt medical attention be made available to the patients in order to help save their lives.
