SHC seeks details of medicines available at government medical centre

A division bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Irfan Saadat Khan on Monday sought details of the medicines provided to the government medical centre established at Barrack no 4 of Sindh Secretariat.
The bench was hearing a constitution petition filed by a former employee of Quaid-e-Azam Mazar Management Board (QMMB) who was retired on medical grounds and complained that although he is suffering from bouts of Asthma no medicines are provided to him.
On a previous date of hearing, the court asked the counsel for respondents to get the petitioner treated at some government medical centre and he was referred to the above mentioned centre for the purpose. The petitioner today informed the bench that no medicines are available at the facility.
