Apropos a news item carried by Business Recorder on October 30, 2009 on page 9 titled "Ban on export of cotton, thread demanded" is not correct. Chairman of All Pakistan Bedsheet and Upholstery Manufacturers Association (APBUMA) never stated that ban be imposed on cotton and cotton yarn.
