The Secretary Health Punjab has directed the Principal Services Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS)/Services Hospital Lahore to constitute Special Medical Board (SMB) of medical experts to examine Shoaib Hashmi, a renowned educationlist and TV play writer, who is suffering from Cerebral Palsy. The spokesman of Secretary Health Punjab said this here on Monday.
The spokesman added that the Secretary Health further directed to convene a meeting of the SMB and examine the patient in order to diagnose the exact nature of his disease and propose further course of management and also to estimate the cost of treatment. He said that Secretary Health further directed that a comprehensive report of the SMB should be furnished to the Health Department within a week to proceed further.
