CDA to start small tourists trains in parks

03 Nov, 2009

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) would start small tourists trains and kids rides at different recreational spots of the federal capital, which aim to entertain tourists particularly children. "The Authority would invite proposals and suggestions from the public about ticketing prices and further improve the facilities," spokesman of CDA, Mustafain Kazmi told APP on Monday.
He said that the last date for public suggestions was November 21 where people could send their suggestions about new services. The spokesman said initially the coloured trains would run at Fatima Jinnah Women Park, F-9 and Lake View Park. These small trains and rides would be functional by mid December this year.
