New York cocoa lower

US cocoa futures trickled to a lower settlement Friday, in options-related dealings and on December/March spreading, while general selling in commodities added pressure, dealers said. The benchmark March cocoa contract closed down $39 at $3,237 per tonne. Trading range from $3,230 to $3,298 per tonne. Volume for March at 10,327 lots at 12:33 pm EST (1733 GMT).
December cocoa on ICE Futures US fell $32 to finish at $3,186 per tonne. US cocoa futures slid further after falling from recent 30-year highs, pressured by commodity-wide selling - traders.
