Rates almost stay put on grain, seed markets

Thin business was seen on the wholesale grain and seed markets on Saturday as most of the items were unmoved due to balanced demand and supply position, dealers said. On the cereals side gur low type gained Rs 200 to Rs 5000 while the better type was unchanged at Rs 6000, masoor Canada quoted higher at Rs 6800, they said. A solo deal was witnessed on the rice sector as Irri-6 Sindh low type was up by Rs 25 to Rs 2425 and superior quality was inert at Rs 2450, they said.
