Cold wave grips occupied Kashmir

Cold wave has gripped the occupied Kashmir Valley following fresh snowfall in upper reaches including Gulmarg, Pahalgam and different parts of Ladakh region. Meteorological department officials have predicted more rains and snow in the next two days,kms reported.
Reports said that the upper reaches of valley including Farkian Gali, Sadna Top, Razdan pass, Tulail and Gurez along the Line of Control, Zojilla Pass in Kargil and Khardungla in Leh received fresh snowfall while the plains received light showers dipping the temperature sharply. Snowfall was also reported in the mountains surrounding Uri sector.
As per reports the Mahaguns, Pissu top, Sheeshnag and Panjtarni also experienced light snowfall while Pahalgam witnessed season's coldest night, where temperature was recorded at -0.2 degree Celsius.
In Srinagar, and its adjoining areas, weather remained cloudy throughout the day and the minimum temperature was recorded at 2.5 degree Celsius, one degree above normal.
