Terror incidents in Balochistan: PMAP urges government to arrest militants

10 Nov, 2009

The Pushtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PMAP) has demanded of the government to ensure arrest of militants involved in the killings of teachers and innocent citizens in Quetta and other cities of the province.
In a statement issued from PMAP provincial secretariat here on Monday, the PMAP leaders strongly condemned target killing of teachers, and hurling hand grenades to Mizan Chowk pushcarts and a girls school, located near Mannujan Road, in which two lady teachers and scores of innocent daily wagers sustained serious injuries.
The statement further said that it was regrettable that attacks had been carrying out at schools, colleges and other educational institutions, but no arrest of militants could be made so far. The party stressed the need to launch crackdown against persons, either foreigners or locals, if found involved in target killings and attacks on educational institutions.
