Pamco hands over first perishable cargo centre to Agility International

Import and export facility of high value added perishable commodities like fruits, vegetable and meat both for export and import have been provided by Punjab Agri Marketing Company (Pamco) at Lahore Airport. According to details, Pamco have handed over its first cold cargo centre (CCC) situated at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore to Agility International on three year operating license to promote import and export of perishable commodities.
One of the up coming projects of Pamco "Mango Pack House" with cold storage facility will be handed over to Agility soon. Agility international is a leading multinational logistics company and has the state of art technology to manage its operations and is strongly committed to invest its resources in the improvement of supply chain of perishable commodities in Pakistan. Pamco has been established by the Government of Punjab for the development of agriculture sector in Punjab.
The cold store at Lahore airport is one of the first initiatives by the government of Punjab and a first step towards developing a modern post-harvest infrastructure. The facility will provide improved and high quality value perishable commodities such as fruits, vegetables and meat, both for export and local markets. Moreover, this cold storage is designed to store multi products at varying temperatures with additional facility of blast chamber.
