Government criticised for following Musharraf's policies

Pakistan Muslim League (N) Central Leader and former Deputy Speaker National Assembly Chaudhry Jaffar Iqbal has said that peace and stability in the country could be ensured by following the national agenda in letter and in spirit. The PML-N leader said that the terrorism merely by use of force could not be eliminated; its root causes need to be kept in view.
In order to create peace and stability in the country the internal and foreign policies of Pervez Musharraf era must be changed, he said. "The rulers should tell why the cities of Pakistan are targeted of suicide bomb blasts and innocent citizen are being massacred mercilessly", he questioned. Jaffar Iqbal further said that the PPP had provided safe exit to a military dictator Pervez Musharraf with guard of honour.
