Students from Quetta visit Lahore

On the invitation of Chief Minister Punjab, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, a 20 member delegation of Matric and Intermediate students from Balochistan has arrived at Allama Iqbal Airport, Lahore here on Wednesday. The Minister Education Punjab Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman, Additional Secretary Higher Education Chaudhry Muhammad Akram, Additional Secretary Schools Ghulam Abbas Sarghana warmly welcomed the delegation.
Talking to media men, the Minister said that all talented students were great assets and future of the country. The Chief Minister Punjab has chalked out this programme to encourage talented students of Punjab and other provinces. "This step is a kind of recognition of their best academic performance," he said.
Some of the students, while taking to journalists said that they were thankful to the chief minister for his encouragement. "Although we are all Pakistani but this visit would promote inter-provincial harmony," they said. During the visit the delegation will visit different universities, historical and recreational places in Punjab.
