Senior Vice President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has said that only democracy and parliamentary system of the government can run in the country, saying technocrats' government might be the desire of corrupt mafia. Talking to newsmen at his residence here on Wednesday, Hashmi said that US was searching for justifications and excuses to enter its troops into Pakistan.
He noted that US President Obama had demanded of the government to "Do More" by declaring the performance of the government not sufficient. Hashmi said that our Foreign Minister had proved his ignorance by clarifying the letter of US President.
He asked those, who are hatching conspiracies against the present dispensation to keep in mind that to minus any one might led to collapse of the whole system. Hashmi opposed the proposed 20 percent rise in electricity and 26 percent rise in gas tariffs, saying additional burden should not be put on public in order to get the trance of $1.29 billion loan from IMF.
