The result of Urdu declamation contests held here has been announced and the winners included twelve boys and as many girls who will get prizes on Friday, November 20.
The district focal person for the Chief Minister's Speech and Essay Writing Contests Malik Ameer Hussain said that a total of 60 students from primary section including 32 boys and 28 girls appeared in the Urdu speech contests from Khanewal, Jehanian, Mianchannu and Kabirwala.
Twenty four of them won the contests by securing first,second and third positions in each tehsil among boys and girls separately.
Following are the positions among girls in each tehsil: Khanewal: Dua Saleem (1st), Rabea Shabbir (2nd), Maryam Khursheed (3rd) Jehanian: Momina Rasheed (1st), Zonera Farooq (2nd), Sabahat Rasool (3rd) Kabirwala: Ummat-ur-Rifah (1st), Muqaddas Saeed (2nd), Samia Hafeez (3rd) Mianchannu: Afia Iqbal (1st), Hamna Shehzadi (2nd), Amna Ashraf (3rd) Results among boys are:
Khanewal: Muhammad Ali Tariq (1st), Muhammad Hamza Irfan (2nd), Muhammad Usama (3rd) Jehanian: Atif Aqeel (1st), Abdul Waheed Khan (2nd), Nuhammad Umair Siddiq (3rd) Kabirwala: Muhammad Usama Ramzan (1st), Usama Zia (2nd), Mudassir Hayat (3rd) Mianchannu: Saad Rafi (1st), Syed Nadir Ali Jafri (2nd), Muhammad Ehsan Munir (3rd).
