Rising trend was seen on the wholesale grain and seed markets on Saturday as supply position was tight due to transportation problem as truck owners were busy in delivering sacrificial animals from one province to another, dealers said. On the cereal side moong Punjab was higher by Rs 500 to Rs 5750.
Masoor Canada followed suit and gained Rs 700 to Rs 7700 and masoor dal posted fresh rise of Rs 900 to Rs 9700 due to said reason. Gur lost Rs 100 to Rs 5200-5900, they said. On the grams side grams 50x50 lower type was up by Rs 100 to Rs 3600 while the better type did not show any change in process of trading, gram dal 50x50 was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 4200-4400, they said. On the seed side cottonseed oilcake with bag from Sindh low type shed Rs 20 to Rs 1030 and good type lost Rs 10 to Rs 1060 amid slow trading, they said.
