17th Amendment: Zardari will soon give good news, says Kaira

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Qamar Zaman Kaira Sunday said that one point agenda on Balochistan package would be discussed in Joint Session of the Parliament. Talking to media men after witnessing the Second All Pakistan Tent-pegging Tournament here, he said "We will comply with the Supreme Court's order on NRO issue and ready to face cases in courts."
He said that President Asif Ali Zardari would soon give good news to the people regarding 17th Amendment adding that a Parliamentary committee in this regard is working five days in a week.
The Minister disclosed that President Asif Ali Zardari would address the joint parliamentary session in March 2010 and in this regard preparations are being completed. He claimed that NRO was presented by the Musharraf government and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto protected the democracy through world powers and lovers of democracy, under which Shaheed Benazir and other political leaders returned to the country.
"We are not afraid of cases as PPP has already faced cases for eleven years," he added. Kaira said that Balochistan package would play a significant role in the development and progress of the province.
