Suicide attacks and bomb blast incidents have badly affected mental health of the children and they live in fear. Children feel insecure and were afraid to go to educational institutions. Professor Dr Khalida Tareen stated this while addressing the Special children week held at Special Education and Training Center (SETC) Johar Town here on Sunday.
This event was organised in connection with Universal Children Day. Project director of SETC renowned psychiatrist Professor Dr Khalida Tareen said that during the week long activities special children participated in debate competition and they presented national songs, folk dance and tableau and put up good performance in sports. She said that Universal Children Day celebrated in country once every year and then we forget the children rights for the rest of the year.
